weight? Its a 3300# car on a short wheel base!Thats 825# on each wheel,(not including gas oil and driver) Not exactly light....and about the same same as other fwd cars....more problem with power and crappy tires then anything...

Power?

Power I have plenty of stinking power and I have this long plastic thing on the floor the helps me make sure I don't have too much when I don't need it.

The HHR is a good weight for it's size and the wheel base is not too bad. Now drive a Jeep in 2WD and see what short wheel base is all about.

Good old go anywhere jeeps..as long as its in a straight line...jk....Power..was refering to too much! With the gearing the HHR has, its quick on the spin...

The gearing is not really that much even in the SS.

Again the gas pedal is very progressive and is at your control.

I used to hate the V8 CJ5 we had work.That thing was a mess. It had a plow and metal cap on. If you hit a curb wrong it will hi side on two wheels. Not to mention that we had to keep rags in the holes in the rear wheel tubs to keep the water out. Even the dip stick rusted off in less than 25,000 miles.
