Great Progress. !!

I've got a near complete 2009 2.2 l body wiring harness out of my Mule Panel. So if you need a connector or section of Body wiring, Let me know and I'll send your way. I also have all the various module connectors and misc controllers.

I went through pretty much the same process as your doing,, the cutting back and delete unused signal wire for PCM wiring harness, lot of tedious work. My only advice is to place the various "Engine" grounds on the engine where they were originally located. To date Zero PCM Codes.

My first LS1 & 6 speed went into my '56 Chevy 210, and I now wish that I'd installed the PCM in the engine compartment, I still can't stop the Wind from that hole in the dash.... My PCM is stand alone, except for the Speedo and Tack signals. But, after I had completely installed the Auto Meter Instruments I had to pull the Speedo and Tack out, after dropping and steering column etc, because I didn't "Read" that the Tack had to be Set for a "4" cylinder. I had the Cruise, A/C, MAF, CPP, secondary Oxy Sensors, & ETC, deleted by the PCM Programmer.

One of the very Wonderful "Things" about the LS1 and it's PCM, besides the Power, is that I've Never Ever had to touch the Engine in "9" years, except oil changes and a bath now and then. Time for new headers though, the Ceramic coating;,,,

RE the Oxy sensors. Over the Years I've read tons regarding the placement of the front sensors. I spoke with a few LS1 etc Header manufactures Tech Support and in the end placed the bungs just after the 4-to-1 collector. The engine runs perfectly and with no EGR, will pass the emissions test, I had to know...

It's not just the engine compartment wires, I'm completely removing the unused wires all the way back. Im working on the "low fuel warning light right now. Of course it goes almost bumper to bumper.

 

Fun stuff!! Tedious and exacting!

As the tracing, removal, cutting, splicing, lengthening, shrink tubing and bundling of the wiring continues at a snail's pace, the exhaust system got back from the coaters. It came out pretty sweet. It won't rust and it will keep the heat inside the tubes a little better.. I also mounted the QuickTime low profile cutouts. Something else to wire in.

 

Aye the pipes! Soon they'll be calling!! Hopefully way before next St. Patrick's day.

Soldering away, straightening things out. It is a ton of work just to mone the fuse block to to other side of the engine compartment. Im working on connector X2 here.
