Today I made an appointment at the dealership to chase an oil leak that is turning my blacktop driveway into a work of modern art

My Uncle passed away today aged 85,he was one of those guys who took a kid to a car show and instilled pride of ownership in me, here he is with my Aunt at the Canadian National Exibition back in 1958 at the Ford display, so I will clean up the HHR, ( he thought the red rims were from his '49 Ford business coupe ) and be in the funeral procession after the family coach in memory of him

rotated and balanced the tires today at discount tire, main reason for doing was to get it off the ground so I could check my hub bearings before I do my brakes this weekend! figured why waste my time last night jacking it up (which is a pita on the SS!) when I can take it down to them and check things out while they worked! not to mention they always clean off the corrosion on the hubs and wheels so I dont have to do that now either!

Replaced mine also. My start up rattle is gone. I removed the valve cover and preset the tensioner per the service manual.
