Had a great time today with the Socal HHR group. Breakfast was great and so was the museum. What a great place, we spent over two hours trying to take it all in. So much to see. 98% of the planes here are airworthy and are flown! The neat part is that this museum is funded entirely by donations. Here are a few pictures, only one plane but I have over 25 plane shots:

Nice turnout at your G2G there Budster, and what a sweet looking P-40.

My new/used fender and door were dropped off by the salvage yard, they wrapped 'em in enough industrial strength bubble wrap that I think I could wrap Michelle's Fiat 500 as a joke.

But then she'd whack me with her cast.

I gave their driver $20 to grab some lunch on his way back, he didn't want to take it at first, but I finally got him to accept it.

Heck, he drove 100 miles up to Kannapolis on a Saturday to drop off parts, that's an example of excellent customer service.

I got the front windshield tinted at 50%. The rest of the windows is at 5%. My Accord is set up the same way but the windshield looks much darker.

It's probably the HHR's "Mail Slot" windshield which makes the tint appear darker, less glass area.

Michigan police must be fairly liberal in enforcing tint regs, the tint looks good, but here in NC you'd get a "Fix It" citation mighty quick.

Nothing today, just watching the sunshine glisten off the ice and snow!

Finished up my projector retrofit install by adding a switch to activate the Halo rings and/or the demon-eye mod. Looks wicked!!
