In the dealer to finally have the brake booster vacuum pump installed.
Dealer was FINALLY able to duplicate and admit the brakes don't work so great on startup!

Too bad they never could while under warranty.

I'll be a lot less nervous letting anyone else drive the car cold now!

Got to work on my PCV modifications for the wife's SS. Removed and plugged the intake today. There's also an update on Installing an Oil Catch Can. More to come but good progress today!

Here's a couple shots
BEFORE

SPECIALIZED REMOVAL TOOLS

I carefully removed the valve so that I can route dirty air into a catch can and send only clean air back into the intake.

Drove by a mall, but that's as close as I got Oldblue, and yes 'Ol Buford the Crown Vic Interceptor does clear a path like a shark moving through a school of fish.

Of course there was the usual ribbing and mock expressions of horror upon arriving at Mynatt's Chevrolet, Cadillac, Buick, and GMC in a Ford.

But it's a Ford with Presence, the kind of presence that says, outta the way! Now!

Never rains but it pours eh Oldblue, take care of yourself and your Sweetie OK.

My "did" consisted of "Parked", "Parked", "Purge Solenoid Replaced", and "Still Disassembled in SC".

Today I've got a round trip flight to Denver, then I'm off for two weeks as our Flight Office closes for the Holidays.

But with Santa coming on Friday, and a three year old Son, boredom shouldn't be an issue.

Michelle continues her post-Chemo bounce back, I'm making a double batch of our traditional Christmas Lasagna, I think the first pan will be gone quickly.

Mike it is good to hear that Michelle is recovering well. Lasagna is one of my favorite dishes but that is too far to come knocking on your door as I have to be at my oldest daughters at 4.

Considering how folks are already playing "Full Sized Bumper Cars" on the Interstates Ron, I'm glad I'll be looking down on them from 35,000 feet in a bit over two hours.

Of course we have fog this morning which reduced visibility on the way here to the airport down to the length of the 2006's hood + 3 feet.

Gonna be flight delays out of Charlotte-Douglas Intl all morning, I really feel for folks who fly Commercial on the Holidays.

Travel safely, and maybe the next time you scoot down for something at Lionel's outlet store, we can have you over for Lasagna.

I'm like Garfield the cat with that stuff, give me a napkin and a fork, then stand well back.

What did I do to my HHR today? Does washing dog slobber off of windows/doors/rear fenders count? 'Cuz I just did that!

Cheers
