Exchanged old timing chain tensioner for a the new style on wife's 07 LS and cleaned MAF sensor. All this with 145000 kms first time. Rear brakes next.

Replaced wiper blades & air filter. Air filter was too easy - almost like something was missing.

You need GM part # 15865168 DUCT. Air Cleaner Intake (it's #7 in this diagram) you can google the part number to find the best deal for you.

You'll benefit from drawing cool, dense air from behind the headlight. Probably not a rush job, though. If I'm wrong, someone will say so.

I was gonna clean my headlights today, but the lawn and some gardening had to be done first, by order and decree if she who is most feared! Then she took the HHR out for a luncheon with her old work friends and then out to her friends place for a girls only bar b que and bonfire!
I'll catch up on my nap time
