Removed rear window wiper and motor. Installed a cover intended for a kitchen sink. Not perfect but looks better than the wiper.

Installed 11.6x" SS sized brakes. New rotors cured the warped rotor shudder.

Don't forget to clean and adjust the rear brakes, particularly if they are the drum style.

Nothing today rain rain and more rain!

It is odd that more people don't address the actual mounting of the tire, in relation to this. According to my guys (and my experience) there is only one correct mounting position for the tire on the wheel. If you get it exactly right, it takes a lot less weight to balance them.

FUN FACT if you get brand new tires or look at them there is usually a yellow or orange dot on the outside of the tire. This is supposed to be mounted so the dot lines up with the valve stem of the rim. The dot is the "heavy" spot on the tire, generally. Sometimes, they may try to "re index" or simply rotate the tire a certain number of degrees on the rim to help with balancing if they prove to be difficult to balance.

Exactly. I didn't go into detail, but that is what my guy SHOWED me once.

With it NOT lined up it took quite a bit more weight to balance. Dynamic balancing is the best, but not available everywhere and not included with tire purchases generally.

Today we rolled out at 06:30 am headed for Toronto, Princess Margaret Hospital, had to get an ultrasound in my right eye to confirm any problems due to pressure from behind the eye, it's been like this since my concussion back in early May 2013.
Then we're off for a cruise to a friends shop in Aurora, Ontario for a visit, you can see his work in the Police Academy movies, he prepared the cars for those movies

Finally got my running boards on (bought here in the marketplace) and couldn't be more pleased. Boards were factory white when I got them, but 2 cans of Plasti-Dip and some Glossifier later and they are black and awesome.
Also put on the nice Chevy HHR mudflaps and they really set things off!

I really like the red and black contrast and am thinking of what else could be black too.

Casa del gatos, I'm about to do my door handles black. I thought about it, then searched and saw where Chefhhr had done it. Also, the taillights tinted black looks good too. Your mudflaps look pretty sweet btw
