What kind of car did you give up for your HHR?
Lancer
Traded my 08 Lancer GTS with 72k miles for the 08 HHR SS...with 72k miles. It means another year of payments, but the Lancer just wasn't that quick, and making it quick would have ran a small fortune. And at the end of that small fortune, I'd be to about HHR SS performance with no LSD....
I DO miss the brakes on the Lancer...damn that thing could stop. They put their SUV's brakes on it, and it was monstrous. I also miss the integrated bluetooth sometimes. A minor trade for the performance though.

WOW, I can't believe I never posted in this thread.
My 92 Mitsubishi Mighty Max 4WD pickup had been sitting out in my buddy's field since I got the HHRSS
All it needs is an ECU and seats that won't roll me out when I open the door.
Pookie Sr. models it as a hat

I sold my 2004 Cavalier LS Sport Coupe for my HHR. I purchased the HHR to advertise my business, which I no longer have anymore, but I will still keep the HHR. I do miss my cavy. There were many mods not pictured here, but I don't feel like searching for photos.

I traded a 1993 Merc Capri for our 2008 HHR LT 4dr. Best trade I ever made. Wife HAD to have the Capri 3 years ago - neat little red convertible, but she soon grew tired of it and then it was relegated to me to beat around in. At 6'2" and gray hair, I looked like I was going through my 2nd mid-life crisis and couldn't afford a 'vette.

These are the last shots - taken on the way to the dealership to trade in.

2006 Scion tC...
No serious performance mods...it was lowered on TRD springs and had a TRD swaybar, interior gauge and HVAC LED swap from amber to blue/white, HID plug n play setup, tints, new wheels (not the ones in the picture, busted one of those on a pothole and upgraded but couldn't find a picture of the newer ones). Had a nice Clarion DVD/touchscreen navigation system that I've held on to and might maybe install in the HHR someday. Too many flaws though...got keyed twice, the hatch and glass roof rattled like crazy if you even looked at them wrong, let alone drove over a bump, underpowered, developed a weird smell after a while that I couldn't pinpoint/get rid of, etc. Not a bad car by any stretch but I had the money to move on at the time so I went for it.
