After putting in my Pedders, I took it to the alignment shop. I bought a set of offset camber bolts ahead of time in case they were needed.
The camber checked to be within specs, so we didn't use the bolts. The toe was out so we adjusted that.

firemangeorge, do you have the part numbers for the springs you got? You seem to have had the best results with the swap.

I do. In fact I still have the original boxes. But,, remember that my original Pedder rears were replaced by them with some kind of prototype with fewer coil wraps. My original rear Pedders coils were banging together.

The replacement prototype rear springs came in boxes with the same part # as the 1st set. ???
I'm sure the new ones have a different part #, but who knows what it is. Not sure why they got shipped in the older numbered box.
Check my picture in post #32. Different springs but same part #.

FWIW. Pretty sure that Pedders USA has gone out of business. If you buy their springs for the HHR, you most likely will be getting old stock. AND, most likely it will be the original style that were known to have that coil "banging" issue.
Also, the front Pedders are bouncy compared to the stock FE5's.

I have an extra full set of the Pedders in my shop. Brand new, never installed fronts, and the old rears that the coils banged on. (Pedders didn't want them back after they sent me the new set )
