I've ordered the parts. Paid retail at the dealership (because of the post mentioning warranty coverage). It's been about a week & no word - perhaps I'll call them and see where my good are...

Well, I finally installed my controls. Install wasn't all that bad, but I did have to change all but one pin on the cruise control side.

As for warranty, changing the controls will void the warranty on them no matter who does it, or where you get them from. Unless of course the dealer never looks into what your car had from the factory, and doesn't care that you changed it. Lets just say if they want to be *****s about it, they can be.

Got mine installed, too. Like Kawtipping above, I ended up changing all but one wire on the cruise side of the harness...but also had to swap #1 & #4 on the audio side. Works great!

Still waiting for the cover, though..................................... Buttons are currently dangling out of the hole.

Looking back thru the threads..it appears GM was not consistant with the colors to year model..I have an 07 with the gray switch covers while everyone else has the silver..hmmmm...and it appears some have flat while others have raised buttons..I have the raised..
So..if I'm now correct,,the raised buttons are PN 15942446 and the Dark Gray cover is PN 15281577..is this correct?

The saga continues..after re=reading the entire post..again...my conclusion is...paint the suckers!! I ordered the 15234337 bezel and got silver..the 15281577 from what I read is also silver..??????? What gives? Anybody have a GOOD number for the gray..or has one they would like to part with? The parts I have now were sold so post 454 no longer applies...my hair is starting to match the 577 part...................

I was told by a parts guy is to find an HHR with the factory part you want and get the last 8 vin numbers to find the right part number and hope and pray that GM did not change the numbers again!
