I change mine twice a year, and I always have the same thought, "glad that crud didn't end up in my lungs".

glad I read this, even if it has been bought up a gillzion times, I need to check on mine again, When I first got my HHR, that was one of the first things I did was change the cabin filter, As I had recently tried to quit smoking again for the #### of times, I wanted clean air coming in and not someone's else air from the filter. I get comments as to the car still has that new smell, o and still not smoking

Spray Ozone and Activated Carbon CAF help alot with the smoke.

Keep up with the quitting, after the first 8 years, I only reach for one once every month.
Emphysema really sucks! I avoided an oxygen tank. My son-in-law is dying from COPD. My wife sometimes "tries" to quit. You CAN quit! I managed to, after 30 years 2 pack a day, with my wife smoking 3 feet away. I do not understand people that go the first 8 months, then start again.
