Any Idea how the two large HVAC knobs come off?

My thoughts are that they are like the radio and part of the module. The radio, at least mine, has them soldered on to the PCB as an assembly. I believe you will have to take the module apart.

The better question is why do you wish to remove them?

I am planning on painting the waterfall along with the radio and HVAC controls. I wanted to remove the knobs to avoid taping them up.

Here is a picture of my radio knobs. You might be able to take the rest apart in a similar manor.

There might be more pictures to help you in my pictures. Just click on the camera icon on the left.

I got the face off the radio but I can't get the knobs off, do they come off the board? I removed all 10 screws from the board but the knobs seem to be holding it on. I tried pulling as hard as I could I even used channel locks to no avail.

Edit: Never mind it seems you push the buttons and they board come off, I just find this pic a little misleading.

If you use Blackcat Custom gauge faces, you don't have to replace the LEDs for the gauges. The translucent numbers do that for you. I did a bit of both. The gauges are more blue than my phone pic represents. I replaced the TPS and Trac Control w/ the blue LEDs.

More pics. I'm new here. Bare w/ me.
