2007 and 2008 wiring are pretty much the same, maybe some pin positions on connectors are changed but the colors are the same.
Of course, 2008 is the first year of SS. The SS radiator may be the same but the fan and shroud is an entirely different system.

Well.
In first place we think, that we are correcting the original wiring harness to adapt the SS needs. How ever,I managed to find 2008 automatic SS full wiring harness from Estonia. (The person want the LNF engine with some builds up and bought full car from Copart). So I took all the wiring out of my car and now will put the SS one in.
The GM brilliant engineers are made this kind a swap as difficult as possible:) Even the driver door connector shape is different. So you have to cut the new square hole in it. And if you want to install the SS ABS unit, you have to changed the brake line connectors (3pcs) :)
And the sound system is different then my 2,4 LT. And the sunroof/buttons wiring is different. And the window buttons are in different place. I hope I can soon plug all the staff what will be need to start the engine. Or first place, just see what will happening when I connect the battery :)
I have the original SS engine harness together with the BCM and transmission control module(same car). The ECM I bought from USA (used) but also the 2008 SS automatic transmission. The key how ever is from my old 2.4 HHR. So I think that I have to dissable my original immobilaiser system
Can it be delete?

2008 SS wiring

Empty car

And the new wiring is going in

The key talks to the BCM then the BCM send a go/no go message to the ECM. I think that as long as the key sensor and the BCM are friends it should work. If you replace the BCM get the key from that car and do a key learn.

Up to 2009 the LS/LT window controls were on the console (2009 on doors), the 2008 SS had them on the doors. I am guessing that any difference in the doors is for that reason. Looks to me like you are trying to fit the door rubber into the body hole. Should be the body connector goes into the body hole then the rubber wraps it. None of the rubber conduit fits into the holes.

Have you figured out how to cover the intercooler? LS/LT bumper cover won't do it. You would need an SS grille and bumper cover.

I do not have the key from the other car. So I have to figured out how to eliminate the immobilaiser system. I have my original BCM,but I think it will not work with the 2008 SS wiring and needs. The door connectors(body side) lock himself to this square hole in the body. And the rubber cover goes ower the square connector. The door side is same as all others.
Oldblue: The fun depends on which side you looking it But I think it is projekt, that should have warning: Do not try this at home

I think we did advise you, way back in the beginning, just buy an SS or a new 2.4 engine

Yes,but its not fun . To get the car to Estonia I have to pay the transport(about 1700.- usd from USA) and then taxes. Car price+transport price. Then 20% VAT from the total. And then car price+transport+VAT +10% custom tax from total. Also have to pay harbor duties (about 400.-€). Car registration to Estonia is also will cost some money. Because it is from outside of EU,I have to make the emission test(cost about 5..600.-€) And after that I can get the registration and license plates(cost about 400.-€).
And actually I like build something different. The world will be very boring place if everybody just buying only factory cars
If I get this car running I want to go insane with it. Some new paint improvement (SS Wagon logo and something more). Also the engine and transmission heavy upgrades.
But first,I have to figured out,how to get it running. I will keep you updated.

Today I received the window buttons and new SS fan. Forgot to order the brake position sensor. Will put the new stereo in as well because the USA frequencies are different and I can listen only 2..3 radio station in Estonia

New fan

For the radio, it's little pain to convert us to eu frequencies. If You swaped one with another it'll be locked. Propably best way is to get radio chip out and find difference in code. Worked in my case.
