I'm not too sure which vehicles you are referring to specifically but I know that BMW has a 1 series vehicles that should be coming to North America this year, at least from what I remember hearing.

MB also has a small vehicle that could/should be brought to NA, the A class. If I'm not mistaken they can be had in Mexico and someone at one point might have posted a picture of the vehicle on this forum (someone who owned one down in Mexico????)

Calgary....

Not sure what you are inferring regarding the BMW 1 Series but it essentially will not be a vehicle built for "grocery getting".

Two models...one with about 220 hp and the butt ripping twin turbo 300 hp.

I tried to preorder one. No dice.

Then there is the EXTREME HYBRID, plugs into regular outlet, but only lasts 40 miles before switch to gas, here is the CNN Video http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/tec...ef=videosearch

Snoopy, the BMW 1 could very well be a grocery getter but not so much in the coupe model which is coming to NA. I was under the impression that the hatchback model (which I saw in Europe this last spring) was going to be coming over which would be an awesome car to have especially with the diesel engine but alas us North Americans aren't lucky enough to get this type of vehicle.

Here's a blog from some Canadian that was lucky enough to rent and drive one at some point this last year.

Gotcha

Saw the European hatch-back model. Quite a few in Mexico.

The Sales Manager at the BMW dealership that I was at, SAID the hatchback will NOT be offered in the US. But that doesn't mean that Canada or Mexico wouldn't be a outlet/resource.

Again, that is what he said
