$5,423.76 and about three weeks to get the Paddy-Wagon back to good as new, the estimate runs on for six pages!

But like two old battered fighters getting back into the ring, yours truly and Paddy will be back better than ever, someday I'll post up the pics of the damage....but they still make me sick to look at them.

Now its back to "resting" before she who threatens to whack me with my crutches notices I'm "dorking around" on the computer again.

MY GOD MIKE!!! I'm glad you're OK!!
I don't come to these parts all too often much anymore on account of work-coming to find this leaves me speechless!

I know you probably already know, but your beloved car will never be the same to you again
What do you think you will do in the long run? Keep it? Do you think the car protected you well? I know you're banged up badly and all, but reading the details leads me to believe not many other vehicles could have faired well in that sort of collision

Rest up, and don't overexert yourself. I'm so glad you're OK. I actually had a very close call that very same day. Someone ran a stop sign and I SWORE they were about 2 inches from T-boning me. Luckily for me, they were just to my rear and missed. They're out to get us, I'm certain of it.

The last person I'd ever want to get into an accident with, is a lawyer. But at least he hit a lawyer as nice as you. Haha.

I know that for a while at least the accident damage will be in the back of my head, but knowing just what is broken and how it will be fixed will put my mind at ease. I'd never planned on getting rid of Paddy and that will never change, plus I will now have a shiny new rear axle with new hubs and brakes, along with a crate load of other bits and pieces.

Concord Auto Body is factory approved for repairs to Rolls Royce and Ferrari cars, so when they are done with Paddy, you'll never know he got hit.

As for me, my injuries will heal, I'll get used to the scar on my face, and life will go on. Just remember Nac, it takes more than an intoxicated twerp in a BMW to do in a lawyer, most folks just shoot at us.

Mike when I had someone hit me head on in my new Porsche had it only 2 weeks, took 2 guys 3 months to repair cost more than I paid for it, people that new I had been in an accident would walk around the car to find the repairs you would never know it had been wrecked it looked like new and ran perfect, so if the people that will do the repairs are good you will never kmnow it had been wrecked.

Its an excellent body shop Jay, one of the finest in the country, so I know that Paddy will be faultless when I get the critter back.

This is the same shop who did the award winning paint job on my SS when the original owner restored it a few years back, you can almost fall into that finish, it looks a mile deep.

Yes I'll have some up here in a day or three, between the pain and my wife threatening to strangle me, my time at the computer is a bit limited.

Next up is getting the stitches out of my face on Friday, I'm probably not going to enjoy that one little bit I suppose.

Well I'll have some fresh scars, and I've got fast cars, does this mean I'll be beatin' the womenfolk off with sticks.
