Ok, check the fuses and relays ensure they are all seated firmly

Checked relays but not the fuses, the funny thing is if you leave the key in the on position the wiper motor relay starts squealing but the wipers don't work. I'm hoping it's just replacing the fuse box for a couple hundred bucks

When you said you tried a new battery, did you mean a brand new one?

Pretty close, it's out of my boat and new last year. I'm heading towards a bad fuse box. My son jumped the battery like normal and I found out you put the negative connection to the body

He jump started it from under the hood? Or at the battery in the back of the car?

Negative to the body at the battery is a safety thing; to avoid sparks near a source of hydrogen. Remember the Zeppelin? It applies to ALL motor vehicles
At the front it is because that ain't a negative lug on the side of the fuse box. You use one of the nuts on the strut tower.

Jumpstarting incorrectly under the hood can fry things. At the battery, not so much.

Have you tightened the 4 bolts in the fuse block yet?

The “new” boat battery needs to be tested if it hasn’t already been. In addition to a load test, you need to prove it will hold at least 12.6V or so, at least for a few days, but as a practical matter for several weeks. Just one Winter in a cold place in a discharged state can ruin a battery.
