2009 HHR Power Steering Motor
I did some reading on this and have questions.
Why isn't a check engine light on for this ?
Only non turbo HHR's 2009-2010. Why not the SS ?
Why early years don't have this issue ?
As someone on this forum said "the dealer only took 10 minutes to fix the problem" that's a fuse change to me.
It isn't hard to just change the electric motor, if that's the backbone to the problem. But how to prove it ?

the EPS notice doesn’t trigger a code , so no CEL.
my 2007 had this issue, GM replaced the EPS motor and provided an extended warranty as long as I owned the car.
dealer only took 10 minutes, that fuse change is your speculation.
the GM dealership tested my EPS motor before changing it, the technician hooked up the Scan II to read the EPS notice, that’s why the dash notice has to be lit in order for them to proceed.
