Wait I had sanity left to loose??

 

All I can say is keep the SS. I've had some minor issues with my 2010 but besides the Cobalt SS, the HHR can out handle almost any car/truck. The HHR even the SS takes a hit with resale value. If it was me, Just fix the faults that may come up.
