You're speaking of 2 different parts. You mention the COMPRESSOR....the fix is for the CONDENSER AND EVAPORATOR. It does work as many have testified to. Including me (still NO GROAN/GROWL after 6 years).

possible final installment..

ok...here we go....."growl" fixed yesterday.. local chevy did the compressor hose/evaporator tubing/bracket TSB fix............had them save the old parts so that i could compare. not much difference(seems like same hose/tubing od's) but...the BIG difference is that there is a section of flexable/RUBBER hose in the compressor line(running parallel to the firewall) that was not in the original piece. the retrofitted "mounting bracket" is to keep the compressor line in place considering the flexable hose section rather than a length of solid tubing. anyway...fixed, quiet and i'm a happy, COOL guy..........
