so in my car i have two bulbs in each lens(one on each side). i turned on each one to make sure they worked.

what amp should the interior light fuse be?

right now its 10amp

 

10A is correct. Did you push the buttons? What about the cargo dome light?

Could be relay #32 on the BCM (Retained Accessory Power)

 

On mine, only the center bulb of each come on for the dome. The 2 bulbs you are describing come on with the pushbuttons only, map lights independent of the dome light system. Of course, the third(cargo) light has only the center bulb, no pushbuttons.

 

Does it come on when you open a door?

Have you tried a test light or multi-meter ? All I see is mention of the fuses looking OK. You may stumble on a fix that way, but it would be easier using one of the above to check for power or ground connections.

 

If you took off all the lenses, and you only have the 2 outer bulbs in each, then you need to install the center bulbs.

 

H'mm, I guess the reason they don't work is they are not installed.

Some former owner took offense to the lights coming on when they opened the door.

 

So after finding out on here that the dome light was seperate, i went out and checked, well what did you know, the dome light was missing its bulb. so i took out one of the map lights and put it where the dome light bulb should and it worked. so i will just need to get replacement bulbs .
