Got a call from GM repair today. They replaced the throttle body.

I wouldn't think that would fix a traction control code, but time will tell.

have a good wk end.

When the check engine light and the T/C light is on the car has entered "limp mode". It doesn't have to have anything to do with a problem with the traction control.

Well it has been several days and that problem [ traction control limp mode] seems to be fixed.

However when wifey started the pile today the service air bag code came on.

Can we buy a extended warranty ? Looks like we will need one?

take care KK4

Dear kingkat4,

You can visit the GMPP website for the types of extended warranties that they offer for General Motors vehicle owners. Here is the URL for this site:
www.gmprotectionplan.com.

According to the information that I have available, if you are still within your Bumper To Bumper warranty you should be able to purchase an extended warranty. However, for specific details about this type of thing, you will want to contact your local Chevrolet dealership. Normally the extended warranty process is done through them.

Sincerely,
Michelle, Chevrolet Customer Service
