Front Rotors warped

I'm sorry to be a source of confusion, I am a layman and am trying to understand myself.
I hope the dealer raised your HHR up and checked the suspension out, in particular the steering, this could be a loose tierod or a steering box problem. I would find a way for them to check it before you have a real problem and you end up getting hurt. Like I mentioned, I had a bad vibration in my Astro, and found the rotors eroded and deteriorated on the back side, caused a bad vibration, steering wheel shake and sounded like front end coming apart when I stopped fast or went down a long hill with the brakes applied. But you say they have checked this out, so maybe the steering and suspension need to be checked more thourghly. Just be safe my friend.
BTW, the rear brakes could be having a problem too, you didn't mention if the steering wheel was shaking too.
I know this is an old thread (but I haven't been on in the past eons). Thought I would update. The pads finally got down to a replaceable level at 60,000 miles (100,000 km). Replaced the rotors with NAPA parts. 20,000 km later, still smooth a crisp. GM stock stuff sucks ass...that is all
