Getting Flashed By Oncoming Vehicles
#42
I've had that start happening to me since I put Silverstars in, and my headlights are adjusted properly too. When/if I get flashed by oncoming traffic, I just give them a quick hi-beam flash to let them know that I AM running my low beams. I always have my fogs on too...

I can't stand getting flashed all of the time!!! it's rather annoying! I have 6000K HID Bi-Xenon High/Low Beams in Headlights, and 6000K Low Beams in Foglights which are always on! I love blinding the crap out of people when they high beam me, because people in NJ are rather stupid and don't know the fog lights/Low bea theory. Even though my car doesn't work that way. I can have High beams and the fog lights are still on!!! OEM BABY!!! just a little tweaked! I almost wanted to have High/Low in both fog lights and headlights, That would definately suck for the oncoming person! I didn't want to be a jerk though.
Could it be that your headlights are too bright?

Hmmm....interesting comment after those rather foolish admissions. But to each his own !!! But let me see... People in NJ, "...are rather stupid...." who do not understand the principal of fog lights....IMO

I set my headlights lower because I was getting too much reflection in foggy conditions. I still get people flashing me. If they flash a second time, I give them the high beams.
It could be because of the angle of the lens refracting light up.
