Great suggestions if that was my only issue. However the p0340 code that showed up with it points to a signal issue. Trying to figure out which wire color Carrie’s the firing signal from the ICM to ECM. Which also can cause a 2-3 sec extra starter run on. If anyone knows that wire color off the top of their head I would appreciate it. For a different car it’s a brown and white wire at the ICM. I don’t have one of that color

You say that the wires look odd. Why would they look odd? Wasn't the ICM plug and play? Or did you have to wire it in?

Assuming that’s a response to comment #10, dismiss it if you want, but if the wiring to the crank sensor is bad, the car won’t know the car has started, ergo, the starter run-on.

Solution: check all of the wires. The firing signal is generated in the ICM. The ECM receives a "fired" signal.
I suspect the brn/wht wire is the one to worry about. Did you replace the spark plug boots?

I will check the crank sensor wires today. I put new boots in. Plugs, boots, coil and icm are all new. Thank you for the diagram will check it later as I check others and let you all know what I find.
