Problem with Radio going dark.

Has anyone had a problem with the radio going dark and signal lights not working on the dash. They go out every once and a while come back without doing anything being done.

to the forum!

The radio display illumination and also the dash lights will dim if the automatic headlamps activate, overpasses, shadows from large buildings, even things laid on the top of the dash covering the sensor can trigger the "Auto Lights".

The next time the radio dsplay goes dim or dark, try turning the dimmer knob on the dash to full bright.

If that isn't the issue, it's time to dig deeper and consider other faults.

What exactly do you mean by "signal lights" on the dash?
