I have a 2009 HHR LS on which the rear window wiper wipes only the middle 120 degrees instead of the full 180 degrees. I've seen maybe 10 HHRs over the past few months and observed that on 7 of them the wiper appeared to be at rest in the 180 degree position, while the other 3 were at rest at the 120 degree position. This makes me think that there are two models of rear wiper motors and I want to be sure to get the motor that wipes over the full sweep of the window. Anyone out there know anything about this? I can't answer that as I removed my wiper motor.

 

Same part # for all years HHR.

 

Mine parks all the way down on the passenger side and sweeps 120 degrees. Sounds like somebody re-clocked yours. Pop the plastic cap off the hub there is a nut under it.
