I have a 2006 hhr. I am having problems with steering. I replaced the fuse in the engine fuse block because it was blown. I checked the fuse in the floor console and it is ok.I am also having problems with the climate control. I can hear the fan blowing but nothing is coming out hot or cold. I tried to see if the air conditioner would work, no luck. This all started when my car would not start and I tried to jump start it. I had to replaced the battery and have
had problems ever since. Please Help!!!!

 

Is the DIC working? Are you getting a power steering mesg. on the DIC. look at the BCM fuse #4 & #6 in under hood fuse block

 

Could you have possibly tried to jump start it incorrectly? Maybe by connecting to what you thought was a positve or negative terminal under the hood. One terminal with a red cap AND NEAREST TO THE FIREWALL is NOT a jump start terminal. Could you have used this??
