No, if you replaced the part in the Rockauto site as per your link, the part you replaced IS the Camshaft Position Sensor as per the listing in RockAuto - their listing is not wrong.
You called it a Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid - but it is the above sensor.

Camshaft position sensors are on the front and back sides of the engine. Camshaft VVT valves/actuator solenoids are on top of the engine. Camshaft position actuators/phaser is on the camshaft.
The sensors tell the ECM where the cams are. The valves/solenoids tell the actuators where the ECM wants the cams to be. The actuators/phasers retard/advance the valve timing.
I am mystified as to why anyone would try to blame the camshaft itself for a position error.
