looking up part #,s for the 2011 for the vcim that has the bluetooth ( UPF ) it is a different part # 22867076 and the one I got from the wreckers is from a 2010 ss with part # 22835668 . Does anybody know if I can use this one before I install it as I do not want to screw anything up .....tia

ok here is what I finally did to get bluetooth in the car .......first change out the right hand side on steering wheel with controls that have phone/mute button on it .....it is just a plug in on the wiring that is there......Next find a communication interface module Assembly ( with mobile phone Transceiver ) the one I got from the wreckers was out of a 2010 hhr ss...part # 20833261......there is little ridges on the antenna connection that do not match up with the plug ....on the module that was in the 2011 had them orientated at 7 and 11 o clock and the one from 2010 hhr have them at 5 and 11 o clock. I grind ed the 5 o clock ridge off with a file and then it was just plug the harness,s in the module and voila ! everything worked.... lots of plastic panels to remove on passenger side

You said it in post #6, so they should know this.

 

At least the Bluetooth works, even if it is just for phone calls. I’m old school, I ignore my phone when I’m driving, it can wait!
