with the chain off, set the crankshaft key at 12 o'clock and the mark at 5 o'clock. put he chain odd colored link to the crank mark then put the next colored link on the intake mark then the next colored link on the exhaust cam mark. Done.

Replace the timing chain multiple other things I had it on Hook from the battery for 6 weeks now and I got everything put together and got back in it to start it and turn the key on everything lights up but the starter won't it won't start it won't even turn over it doesn't even click can somebody tell me where I'm going wrong or what I need to look at I never really need to get this car going. It's a 2010 Chevy HHR Lt 2.4 L engine it's been on jack stands for quite a bit because every time I order parts for this car I have to special order them because of the engine type I need this car running ASAP if not I'm going to roll it in the street and light it on fire
Did you remove the under hood fuse box? Are there 2 wires hooked to the front connection on it and 1 on the closest to the firewall? The 4 bolts on the inside of the fuse box need to be really, really tight.
