Would you be so kind as to post side by side photos, showing the differences, please

 

I just replaced the intermediate shaft on my '08 SS. The replacement intermediate shaft for the SS model has been discontinued. I purchased one for the base models and had to alter it in order to work on my SS. I had to remove the piece that mates to the steering wheel shaft from the old part and swap it onto the new part by carefully removing the u-joints and then reassembling. Regretfully I did not thing to take pictures when I made the swap.
