tire size help 225-50-17 fitment
H.R.,
I run 225/50/17 on the front and 245/45/17 on the rear with stock LT wheels, Goldline springs all around. I have had no issues at all. The tires are the same height but the rear is wider. I had to use Kumho tires so the two sizes would have the same tread pattern.
It adds a more muscle look. hope this helps, good luck.

I get much better performance as the Goodyear is a much better tire than the Firecr@p it came with. A 17" tire will always feel a little "stiff" as there's not a ton of sidewall there, say as there is on a 16" with the same diameter. The 225 measurement mostly gives you a wider tire.... not a taller one, and you won't be able to go much taller than this 225/50R17.
Should not effect warranty.... if somebody says it does, I'd try another dealer. Beware, some of these dealers try void your warranty for anything..... like, you know, air-fresheners and such.....
