My front resinator was replaced with a cheap muffler (loud )going to a Y pipe with a resinator in each side. It sounds about the same as the sound clips, but with louder back off. Cost me $300 with tips. Downside is no more stainless exhaust.

Imco T-924

I just ordered the IMCO T-924 today. Trying to decide if it's best to use my original tip or purchase a different type. If I'm to purchase a different type. Any suggestions ?

If you have the chrome tip I'd just re-use it. I still think its great looking.

The company where I ordered the IMCO T924 from suggested that I get a exhaust tip with a resonater. Do you feel it is necessary with this particular muffler?

What is the purpose of a Resonator Exhaust Tip? Is the purpose of a Resonator to enhance (make louder) or smooth out the sound lower?
