After another post by this person, we found out it was an oil pan bolt.
He showed a very good picture of it broken in the pan rail.
The bolt is in front of the flywheel.
If you are talking about the pic in #23; Where do you see an oil pan? I can see the starter ring pretty clearly through the hole.
Don, it is the LONG oil pan bolt - the picture shows the BOTTOM of part of the engine, and part of the transmission.
The oil pan is to the RIGHT in the supplied picture.
You can see the starter in the lower right, and the ring gear is visible through the inspection hole.
The oil pan is directly below the starter.
