It looks like the wire your looking for is a LT BLUE wire at the brake lamp switch.is powered only when the brake pedal is pushed. should be two of these wires on the same conector pin. this is off of a 2006 wiring diagram.I dont know if its the same on yours. You need to confirm this is the correct wire with a test light. Hope this helps.
