Like the sound of electronic injectors firing? Is it new?

2006 2.4L and it has 232,000km oil level is a little bit high but not very much, have a small oil leak somewhere aswell so try to keep a it a bit higher because of the leak

2006 2.4L probably is leaking oil from the oil cooler. Needs new O-rings.

If a shop quotes a huge price because "you have to pull the transmission" call BS, the flat rate is 1.7 hours parts around $5.

The ticking is most likely the injectors doing their normal thing. You just hear it when it is slow and no other noise.
