Are you talking about the "mule" he used for test fitting and fabrication?

My 2008 HHR was titled as a truck, my 2011 is a SUV. I did not give the state any information, so I don't know how that came to be. I wonder about California titles. C.A.R.B.

In VA we don't have "truck tags", that may be the difference. We just recently got "commercial" tags so we can now park in loading zones in DC.

eaglefreak138 is exactly right. I purchased a burned out body to use as a mule to design and build the sub-frame. That's why it fit perfectly when I installed it on the real car. I cut the roof off and flipped it upside down so it was easier it work on.

I went by my engine builder's shop tonite to check on the progress. I told you about this guy, right? Too much is never enough? I had to get physical with him just to keep the stock displacement. He wants me to build a funny car. Anyway, I took a couple of pictures around his shop.....I thought you might enjoy.

I was surprised to see an article on the V8 Panel posted on the Web in a site called
LSXTV.com/news/swap-insanity. Go check it out if you care to.
