Washed the bugs off the '08 black panel after returning home from a trip to Summerville S.C.

843de, I now know why you get in a jetplane and fly as far from the Charlotte I-77 traffic as you can. What a rat race! I like driving 80 mph, but bumper to bumper is too close at that speed. I'm glad to be home.

This is NASCAR country, and anyone in Carolina will tell you the proper following distance is 1/4", it's called Drafting.

You get used to it, but there are reasons why I-85 north of Charlotte is called "Blood Alley" by the truckers, and I-77 is known as "The Death Trap".

Sweetie and I try and time our blast thru Charolette at 3:00 to 4:00 pm and use that HOV lane on the I-77 as much as we can, my spotter has learned to help call me clear left or right, and she shouts " boogity boogity boogity, let's go racing " when the land clears and we have open highway usually just past the amusement park on the west side.

My today had me off to pick up Chinese food for Sweetie, a sign she's improving , her kidney numbers were the same as yesterday,
Her WBC has improved to 0.8 from 0.0 on the 12th
Her platelets have jumped to 309 from 15 on the 12th
I didn't crank any tunes today as yet but listen and listen tight!!
6 o'clock any time , it is Monday .... Twister Sister day!!!
Crank up We're not gonna take it!!
It seems to be working!!!

Dee Snyder and the gang were "Cranked" on I-85 Northbound at the proper time, and unlike the folks in the Southbound lanes, nobody was taking potshots at traffic in my direction last night.

Since late August an individual or individuals unknown, has been shooting at traffic on I-85 & I-77 during either the morning or evening rush hours.

So far, no drivers or passengers have been hit, but eventually it will happen. And both highways have plenty of overpasses and areas of dense roadside woods which give ample concealment for a shooter.

I've found myself either sneaking into The Queen City via the backroads, or I'm studying every overpass for suspicious activity.

Wow that's was going on in Detroit awhile ago this past summer! Take care ! A new excuse for erratic lane changes!
I worked on my Honey Do list , finally got the right rear quarter panel scuffed and painted, now I'll wait a day or two , another scuff and coat of colour!
Today, she's asking for a cheese burger and fries! So the drive tune will be Living in the USA by The Steve Miller Band

Great news Steve, Helen will beat this, and when she's home and fully recovered. I think a Get Together is in order, and the steaks are on me Buddy.:)
