Glad to hear everything is going well XTCJ! Hopefully you'll double that mileage without any major problems

Boom. $20 removable racing stripes. Guaranteed to piss off your wife. I made these with two cans of rust oleum peel coat in graphite metallic which is matte gray with metal flake. The stripes are 260mm in front with a 6mm break and 7mm outer stripe plus a 2" gap down the center. Same thing on the rear spoiler and hatch but the main stripes are 274mm to get me outside the hatch's plate indent so that it didn't look goofy. I didn't do any striping on the roof and no one is going to see the front and rear simultaneously so I doubt anyone will notice the width difference.

The paint was easy to work with and it was a fun afternoon project. I've never done anything like this before and am pleased with the result overall considering it was eyeballed. I'll probably leave it on for the summer and change it in the fall.

Nice work 87ninetofive. They look good, especially for the price. Maybe next year, a little pop of color

I picked up a cut up bumper from the auto body dumpster, almost ready to do some bumper work. Got my new muffler on, went for a drive, and stopped at a few spots for some pics. I learned that I really don't know my way around a camera, but here are a few of the not so terrible shots, minus my shadow Any hints, tips, or critiques on the photos would be appreciated.

LOL, the evening sun does make for long shadows. Which I'm confused at how you photograph the lit side of your vehicle but keep your shadow out of the picture. Oh well, all the pics with the damage on the front bumper are bleh anyways

Pick the right time of day to shoot, and stand far enough away so your shadow doesn't reach the frame, or crop your shadow out.

Married the new Curtis hitch and wiring harness to Li'l Blackie, so she is now my summer fishing boat tower,,,. I know I'm only pulling about 500 to 600 pounds with this boat, but I was shocked how well the 2.4 with the 3:91 final drive handled it. Just a 200 mile trip on it's maiden voyage, but just very close to the 25 mpg I was hoping for.

Not a bad day fishing either,,, got my limit and all over 9"

What a way to start a marriage!!

Will try the bigger river rig next, but I already know the way she handled this boat, a couple hundred more pounds won't leave her lacking for power!!!

Today just a bath and microfibre towel to dry off the water spots!
It's very hot here, at least we're not acclimated to it yet!
