WOOHOO, add another project to my list..

 

Ordered all the parts today for this mod on my 07. Dealer said they will be in Thursday. Will let you know how it went.

 

Parts came in fast, and went in fast. Great mod.......here's before & after...

Since you did this on a '07, and my parts should be in Wednesday for my '07...and I don't feel like reading all 11 pages of this thread...are the directions at the beginning of the thread the one's to use or are there changes for the '07?

Just make sure you have the right color bezel.

 

I used a torque screw driver to remove the metal plate that's in front of the harness after removing the air bag/horn. I didn't want to cut the harness out in case this didn't work, & I could put things back the way they were. I also had to change the pins on the new harness for the cruise control to work. That is explained in #478 of this post. I didn't have to change the radio pins.

Now...what to do next????
