I have an 07, will a wheel from an 09 or 10 plug and play? I'm having trouble finding a grey leather wheel, ebony seems to be the color that prevails on ebay. Let me know, thanks!

 

I've been searching for the last two weeks and I finally found an ebony wheel. it was next to impossible but gray wheels are everywhere

Can ya pass on a couple of sources for a gray leather Cobalt wheel??? Has to be '07 or later...

I was just typing different versions of "leather HHR steering wheel" sometimes typing Cobalt, used, for sale, etc, etc and it kept coming up with gray ones. Even when I was typing ebony, I was finding gray. I think a company LKQ had a ton of them. they might be your best bet

BTW... I was using Bing as the search engine

 

LKQ is basically, but not exactly, the new name for the old "junk yard network". You know the radio screamer on the counter, but internet and clearing house trucks etc.

Just installed this mod today. Took longer to read the whole post than it did to put in. Fantastic mod, thanks for all the great info everyone! FYI I ordered from GMPartsDirect and was about $55 plus shipping.

 

The parts I ordered for my 09 1LT just came in today and the cover is a charcoal gray while the ones on my steering wheel are silver! Does anyone happen to have the silver cover and needs to make a swap (Apparently GM Parts Direct won't accept exchanges/returns)
