Question 100k and still kicking!

Hello all, couldn't find this in my couple page search so I started a new thread. Hope no one minds.

I just hit 100k miles on my '09 HHR, and it just so happens that it lined up with an oil change and new tires/balance/align.

My question is; what else? Has anyone replaced anything at 100k? Swapped up how you did certain milestones?

Just wanting to see what everyone else started thinking at 100k to keep the HHR kicking for another 100k miles! (If no one can tell already; I am a computer guy, not a car guy)

Thanks, JD.

Plugs at 100K, trans fluid and filter 100K (if severe service). Check you Owners Manual (link in my sig).

Thank you for the manual donbrew. Seems like it just mentions what you said plus to replace the engine air filter.

Looks like I know what I am doing this weekend. Appreciate it!

I just hit 100k too!

Nothing wrong with my baby except the alignment...which I swear only became an issue after taking it to firestone to prevent anything form happening.

Also there is a slight tug when I exit 1st gear.

Car used to be a rental then we got it at 40k

HHRs DO NOT need alignments!!!!!!!!!!! The only thing that can be changed is the toe, if that is not in spec some parts need to be replaced.

When someone aligns the front end with bad parts installed the alignment will forever be off.

HA as soon as I read the part about alignment in the OP's post I knew it was only a matter of time that donbrew would step in and mention, for about the billionth time, that HHR's don't need alignments.

Well they do if you change out the tie rod inner or outer ends!
But no caster or camber adjustments!
Just toe adjustment
