Problems/Service/RepairsIf you have a problem with your HHR, want a tip on repairing or performing a particular service to you HHR here is the place to post!
I have been driving it. I burned out fuse #29 a couple weeks ago when some banana connectors pulled out of the sockets of a voltmeter and apparently shorted out. After putting another fuse in (#29) there was voltage at the power outlet again.
I found a couple other posts on this forum whille searching for information about it a couple weeks ago about people plugging things into the power outlet and blowing the fuse. I wonder if they checked their OBD2 connectors.
I think the OBD2 port is working. See those 3 circles, top right of the report? Power train system, antilock brake system, service interval. They all have a check mark. If there were an issue, there would be an X. Like this power train X on the report I recently got at AutoZone.
I would guess that if their reader could not establish a connection with OBD2, there would be a note to that effect, or perhaps all 3 circles would have an X.
I may pull the fuse and go try. Not today though. Well, maybe. I do have to go out tonight.

Reason: Typo
I talked to a mechanic today about the problem. He was busy and he asked if a dash light was on and I said only thing it says is SVC tire monitor and he said it has nothing to do with the emissions. I told him about blowing fuse #29 and replacing it and that might have something to do with the lack of data and asked him if he could check the OBD2 port. He said come back Monday.
Maybe my system works OK. Both the emissions station and Autozone seemed to be able to get some data.
