Oil leak from oil pressure sensor?

@donbrew I cleaned up the engine and guess what? I see oil seeping from the oil filter cap. I took it off and can't find any cracks. I snugged it down tighter than usual and it seems to not leak. I think I'll go ahead and buy a new cap though. Thanks man and thank you @Oldblue

That's why filters come with a new O-ring.

AC Delco sells an oil filter and cap and oring.

@Oldblue I work at a paper mill in maintenance Lubrication. We have kits to custom make O rings. I'm thinking of buying a new cap and then making an O ring with a thicker diameter material.

Wouldn’t try that. The original or replacement works fine. You either have a cracked cap or bad o-ring. Get a new cap and use the o-ring made for it.
Trying to stuff a bigger o-ring in there isn’t going to work. That would possibly stress crack the plastic cap.

Why would you even think of making your own? They are provided with a new filter, they must be installed correctly, lots of people fail to put it in the groove.

I just used the one with the new cap.
Finally bought a torque wrench, so I torqued it correctly. No more leak!
