I'm with Don. Not sure why the alignment guys left your toe "off" as much as they did.
Here's the alignment done on mine after my lowering springs were installed.
(SS FE5 does have some different specs )

I am wondering why the tech bothered changing the toe, if he was going to leave it "not perfect". As far as I can see there is no improvement. It started out within limits ended up still within limits, but still not optimum. In fact, it was better before than after.
Typically, can you feel a bad bearing by man-handling it? I have no play in the front end that I can feel. I've had hub bearings go bad over the years (1 on this vehicle, some on others) and the only symptom was the noise it made.

I don't want to put new tires on just to have them ruined.

The thing is, if you can feel it it is way too late. The end play tolerance is .015 inch.

Cupping is usually a result of bad bearings, sometimes worn out ball joints, etc.

And sometimes worn out rear LCA bushings, and combinations of these parts!

The dealer stated I was good-to-go for new tires, so I put a new set on. He said if anything was wrong with the front end, they would have told me (read: sold me some additional service). Getting that delaminated tire off made a huge difference. I guess I'll just have to watch for unusual tire wear.
