L-61/L-61 Gen II/LAP are the internal GM designations for variations of the Ecotec 2.2 engine. Each engine designation is different in some big ways L-61 vs. the L-61 Gen II, and L-61 Gen II vs. the LAP. Parts for one won't necessarily work on another.

Being that you have a 2011 your engine is the LAP variation, so you need to check with the Comp Cams tech people to see if that cam would work in your engine.

 

I got an email from a Competition Cams rep:

Our cams will not work with that one. It has variable valve timing. As
of now, there are no cams on the market that will work with the engine
designation.

So for anyone with a LAP/Ecotech/2.2 engine, be advised, there are no cams.
