Fwiw. One of those links you gave isn't even for a strut. It's for the shroud. (look at the price)
Didn't mean to piss anybody off.l Your post #12 you referred to earlier ..."Doing the work yourself ?
I've had my struts out before to replace the springs (lowering springs ). Pretty easy job as long as you've got a spring compressor.
Rear shocks are simple. Heck, you don't even have to remove the wheels on a SS because you can reach the shock bolts between the rim spokes." didn't say anything about assemblies.

Thank goodness for mods like OldBlue that gives a straight answer. "The confusion is Wholesale Parts is nothing more than an Internet GM parts reseller!
Their fitment lists are not verified, it's unfortunate but it's the facts!
I've confirmed at my GM dealer , that Chevrolet does not sell a strut assembly complete with spring and top plate.
It's alcarte one part at a time!"

Try not to bother you again.

I see it now! Sorry, I think I added to the confusion. In this drawing, the part number points to the whole assembly. Chevrolet HHR SUSPENSION/FRONT

But this drawing shows that it's really just the strut.
STRUT ASM/FRONT

Seriously, they shouldn't make this so difficult to figure out. It's deceptive to call it a "strut kit" and point to the whole assembly, when it really is not so.

Not bothering me.
Ask you earlier if you were "Doing the work yourself ?" You never answered.
Told you earlier there was no fully assembled FE5 struts. You ask again about them.
You threw up a link to the wrong part. I told you about it. Once again. No comment.

Problem here is, this is a forum. That generally means dialog, info and questions swapped back and forth. You just don't seem to want to join both ends of the dialog.
Trying to help you but it's like you're not listening.

You will need the circled parts at least. Most can be found much cheaper than GM.

I think 7 & 8 & 9 are part of the mount assembly. Maybe not.

I haven't been around in a while but I thought this might help some of you out as this would be something I would buy.

Note: Springs have been discontinued. Call for availability before ordering

Kind of defeats the purpose.
