Air Intake

Today I made the air intake system. I used Airaid 4" plastic tubing, Spectre couplings, reducers, clamps and filter. I still need to get a few more of the Spectre "T" bolt clamps, I like them alot better than the worm drive screw clamps. The next part will be to build some brackets off the engine to stabilize the whole thing. I might paint the tubing the same red as the fuel rail covers or maybe leave them black. What do you think....Red or Black. Let me know. You may also notice a new radiator. I got an aluminum one that is the direct replacement for the '01 Camaro but it has a 2" core instead of the stock 1". Ya never know when you will need more cooling.

Red would really show off and accent what you've accomplished here. Yet, black does work too. Awesome work...

the sinister stealth of black? or the pop of color with red, I vote red!! kinda a hot rod touch, and if you could see the firewall paint it checker board!!

I would leave them black and paint the brackets that your going to build red for a nice ascent to the engine bay.

I vote black... Too much red will lose the impact that the pops of red would have.

Black. A little red, trimmed in black with a few shiny parts.
