Call your dealers. Had mine back and complete for 2 weeks now and just got my notice to wait on parts. Mail might be behind parts.

 

HAHA. Today's mail included my first notice for my 2008 HHR (that I traded in 2012). I guess that means it was junked.

 

Got my new ignition last Monday, April 28th Only had to wait about 40 minutes on it so I guess they're trying.

 

Good to hear, GM and the dealers are trying to make things right, it's nice to hear from a "Happy Camper".

 

Got my letter but parts are not in stock anyway lol. No rush as my2011 is doing fine so far.. I may use my paint less dent fix insurance when I drop mine off to be fixed.. get those tiny dents fixed same time :) Free is always good :)

 

Received my recall letter on May 1st.

Had dealer order parts on April 21st. (See previous post.)

Just waiting for dealer to notify me that the parts are in.

In the meantime, all is good with my SS.

 

I got with my dealer 2 weeks ago and they ordered the parts. Last week I got the notice from GM in the mail. Just waiting for the dealer to let me know they've received the parts. Said it should take them 2- 1/2 hours for the repair. When I asked about a rental, they offered to take me home....

 

Two HHRs..............Two recalls. '08 Panel and my '09 SS. Got them in the mail the same day.

Dealer does not have parts. Took Vins and said he would call me when they come in.

Last year dealer replaced the ignition in my '08 Panel and now they will replace it again, probably needlessly because they were aware of the ignition problem then.

JUST GOT MY NOTICE YESTERDAY... THIS WILL BE THE 2ND RECALL ON THE IGNITION... THE 1ST ONE THE KEY GOT STUCK AND WOULDNT COME OUT.... DAMN AND i JUST GOT TO 99,000...
