I’ve had to install a tensioner already activated, it’s still working just fine.
yes, I now remember those spacers are between the sprocket and the harmonic balancer, on the 2.0 LNF only.

Forgot to tighten the thermostat housing banjo bolt lol. Bunch of coolant leaked out. But its fine now. I guess it was just the water pump.

If it’s green plastic, the recycling bin, that’s the protective disc from the harmonic balancer seal installed in the front cover

They're so thin, it doesn't seem like it would make a difference, but...

The slight misalignment of the crankshaft gear could potentially cause premature wear, the smart move would be to put them where they belong.
